1944 - 2016
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ron Maddigan announce his passing on Tuesday, January 5th, 2016 while visiting his daughter in Calgary at the age of 71 years. Leaving to mourn his wife Mildred; son Ronnie (Tracey); daughter Jackie Maddigan-Wood (Robert); grandchildren: Sammy and Drew Maddigan, and Riley, Julia and Sarah Wood; sisters: Jean (Walter) Madore, Anne MacLeod and Mary Jarbeau; brother Peter (Madeline) Maddigan; mother-in-law: Caroline Warren; brother-in-law: David Warren (Roberta); sisters-in-law: Christine Maddigan, Bessie (Garland) Walters, Kathleen Skeard and Bernice (Matthew) Sweet; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents: Peter and Mary Maddigan; sisters: Patricia Ezekiel and Elizabeth Langavin; brothers: Kevin, John and Leo Maddigan; father-in-law Albert Warren and brother-in-law Enos Skeard. Friends and family may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 22nd at 10:30 AM from All Hallows Roman Catholic Church Humber Road with Father Terry officiating. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Corner Brook.
