We sadly announce the peaceful passing at home of our loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. Percy is predeceased by his wife Betty (nee Miller) and his great-granddaughter Lindsay Marie Mills along with many other members of the Vere-Holloway and Miller families. Leaving us with many wonderful memories are his 12 children: Lori (Kenny), Ronnie, Danny (Helen Marie), Judy (Lorne), Michelle, Denise (Tony), Raymond (Genny), Sharon, Janice (Paul), Rosclyn (Austin), Jimmy (Judy), Wayne (Judy) and his extended family: Randy (Natasha), Keith (Charlotte) and Bobby (Christine). Leaving to mourn his special friend, Patricia Darcy, his siblings: Alma, Monya, Karen, Vickie, Shirley, Olga, Derrick, Max and Harry and their spouses along with many nieces, nephews and other family members. Also with saddened hearts are his 19 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, his sister-in-law Diddy (Bridget Miller), her daughter Dana and family along with other members of the Miller family as well as a large circle of friends. He will be sadly missed by his friends at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 1, where he served for many years as their President. Our family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Gordon Higgins who provided exceptional and compassionate care to Dad, his nurse Kelly Collins, his caregivers: John Fully, Tara Moores, Brooks Fully, Paul Gushue and Justin Denney for all the care they have given Dad in his time of need. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home on Hamilton Ave. Visitation on Saturday 2-9 pm, Sunday 12-9 pm, Monday 2-9 pm, and Tuesday 10-11 am with service at Wesley United Church on Tuesday at 2 pm. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre. Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation may be made to the Autism Society of NL or a charity of one's choice. Dad will be deeply missed by all.
