JAILLET, CORDELIA "DELIA"
1921-2016
Cordelia "Delia" Jaillet, 95, formerly of Mill Road, Moncton, passed away on Monday February 1, 2016 at the Oasis d’Or, Dieppe. Born on January 19, 1921 in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Nathalie (Savoie) McDonald.
She is survived by one daughter, Hélène Mountrakis (Greg) of Moncton; three sons: Normand (Evelyn), Ronald (Norma) and Aquila (Donna), all of Grande-Digue; one son-in-law, Mike Koval of Kingston, NB; one brother, Albert (Lorette) of Saint-Paul; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Cyrille (2000); two daughters: Maria and Marie; four sons: George, Raymond, Armand and Joseph; two sisters: Thérèse and Marie; four brothers: Laurie, Willie, Gerard and Freddie; her step-father, Thaddée Goguen.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm and Thursday from 9:30 am until time of departure (10:15). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Saint-Louis-de-France Roman Catholic church, 5 Pleasant Street, Moncton on Thursday, February 4 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
