We, the family of the late Phyllis MacDonald, appreciate all the support during our recent loss. We are grateful to Dr. D’Intino and Palliative Care for extending her quality of life giving us valuable time with her. To Kelly Hunt; you are so much more than a social worker. Thank you to Dr. MacKillop and the exceptionally caring staff of 3B, your unwavering attention and concern for our mother was great comfort to her and us. Thank you to Fr Frank Abbass, Fr Francis Cameron, Fr Dan MacInnis, and Fr Paul Abbass for celebrating her life. To pallbearers Charlie MacKinnon, Bill Ronayne, Lindsey Cooke, Terry O’Rielly, Rodney Dominey, and Tony Langlois, violinist Paul Wukitsch, soloist Jenna MacDonald, organists Janet Cameron and Carol MacDougall, readers Martena Campbell, Danita MacNeil, and Colin MacKinnon, and altar servers George MacDonald, Vince MacDonald, and Michael MacInnis; thank you all for her beautiful funeral. Thank you to St. Mary’s CWL, East Bay, for serving a lovely lunch; a special thank you to Donnie Costello for your touching rendition of her favorite song. To those who sent sympathy and mass cards, flowers, food, and made charitable donations, thank you for your kindness. To Bill Curry and the T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel staff, thank you for your guidance and compassion. We believe that God gives us guardian angels on earth to help us in our time of need. Thank you is not enough for Mommy’s and our special guardian angels, her sisters. To Catherine, Joan, Martena, and Michelle, there are no words to describe our gratitude for the strength you give to us even though your hearts ache for your own loss; we love you.
