The death occurred at Maplewood Manor, Alberton on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 of Donald Stanley Olson of Bloomfield, aged 82 years, beloved husband of Elaine Martha (Pineau).
Born in Smith, Alberta, son of the late Clarence and Ruby (Lichtenberger) Olson. Loving father to Tracey Olson (Bill MacIntyre), Charlottetown and Melanie (Roger) Corcoran, Mill River. Dear Pepe to Matthew, Sarah, Emma, Daniel and Aaron. Don is also survived by his sister, Lillian (Leonard) Remple, Penticton, B.C.; and sisters-in-law, Alicia Lynch, Borden-Carleton; Bernadette Noonan, Kinkora; Mildred Pineau, Summerside and Audrey Pineau, Bloomfield. Predeceased by his parents; sisters, Irene (Stanley), Arlene (Arthur); brothers and sisters-in-law, Viola (Fred) Romano, Clarence, Reginald, Theresa (Leo) Gallant, Yvonne Todd, Marie (Elmer) Gallant, Greg Lynch and David Noonan.

DUE TO STORM visitation for Don Olson at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary have been changed to Sunday, February 7, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday until 10 a.m., then to St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church for funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the parish cemetery at a later date.
