Patrick Joseph Steier

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Patrick Joseph Steier in Swift Current Hospital, on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the age of 52 years. Pat is survived by his parents, Agnes and Wendell Steier of Lemsford; sister, Della Mertin (Darren) and nieces, Jenna and Skye and nephew Cole of Leader; his sister, Wendy Johnson (Rick Earl) and nephews, Logan and Blake of Cabri; his brother Dean and nephew Deajay of Kindersley. Pat was born in Prelate and resided in the Lemsford-Sceptre area his entire life. Pat held his nieces and nephews closest to his heart; he was loved by so many as he was always full of smiles and so much humor and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who asked. Pat was a kind and generous man and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Interment at Lemsford cemetery will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. and will be followed by a memorial luncheon at Sceptre hall at 2:00 p.m. Honorary Pallbearers are the people who stood by his side with encouragement and kindness as his health deteriorated; Gerald Getz, Rocky Schlaht, Guyonne Helman, Ny-al Helman, Dave Kapeller, Sherri Farrer, Sheldon Mann and Dusty Fyke. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Pat may be made to Lemsford Cemetery or Sceptre Museum. Warren's Funeral Home were entrusted with the arrangements.
