We, the family of the late Lena (Ollie) Drover wish to express our sincere gratitude for all the kindness shown to us during the loss of our dear mother. To the many friends, relatives, and neighbours who sent food, flowers, memorial donations and cards, your gifts of love comforted us more that words can express. We want to thank those who visited at the funeral home and attended her service, the weather was quite bad and we were pleasantly surprised to see so many. To Dr. Don Brien, Dr. Jean Crosby and the nurses and staff of 3A Cape Breton Regional Hospital, thank you so much for the wonderful care provided to our mom during her illness; also to the staff of City Homemakers and VON, thank you for the care you gave mom during the last year, she appreciated and looked forward to your visits. We also want to express our gratitude to Archdeacon Rev. Brenda Drake for your prayers and kind words and for coming so quickly to us at the hospital that evening, thank you for preparing a lovely service for mom. To the parishioners of St. Albans, everyone who took part in her service and helped prepare a lovely reception after the service we are extremely grateful. We want to say a special thank you to our aunts & uncles and especially our children & grandchildren whose love and support carried us through those days and continue to do so. Mom was so proud of each & every one of you. Lastly to Colin & Wayne Weatherbee and the staff of Sydney Memorial Chapel, thank you for your advice and care during our time of sorrow.
