The death occurred peacefully at his late residence on Sunday, February 21, 2016, of Eugene Wallace Pineau of Summerside, aged 78 years. Beloved son of the late Peter and Rosella (nee Arsenault) Pineau. Survived by his brothers Ivan of Summerside, Vernon (Marion) of Summerside, Douglas of Amherst, N.S., Earl (Rickie Ann) of Kinkora, his sister Cynthia Duff (Andrew) of Stittsville, ON., and his sister-in-law Marie Arsenault of Slemon Park. Also lovingly remembered by numerous nephews and nieces. Besides his parents, Eugene was predeceased by his brother Ronnie, his sisters Bernadette Gallant (Edmond), Evelyn Burke (Alfred), Chris Buteau (Greg), and Theresa Malone (Phil) and sister-in-law Leona Pineau. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Thursday, Feb. 25, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside, for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date.
