Spurrell
Emma Alrita (Stratton) Spurrell (August 20, 1919 - February 26, 2016) age 96 years of Valleyfield passed away very peacefully at Dr. Y. K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield on Friday, February 26, 2016. Predeceased by her parents; Caroline and Alexander Stratton, infant son; Alexander, husband; Laurence, three brothers; Llewellyn, Eldon and Charles, as well as a number of well-loved in-laws. She leaves to mourn her son; Laurence Jr. and her four daughters; Lydia, Margaret, Nita and Patricia. Also mourning her loss and remembering her with love, are a circle of in-laws, nieces and nephews. Funeral service took place on Monday, February 29, 2016 at St. Albans Anglican Church, Badger's Quay with Rev. Tim Graham officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Badger's Quay. As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Cemetery Funds of St. Alban's Anglican Cemetery, Badger's Quay or Memorial United Church Cemetery, Valleyfield.
