Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with ALS at the Dr. Y.K. Jeon Kittiwake Health Centre, Brookfield on February 22, 2016 Yolande Vivian(Howell) age 56 years. Predeceased by her brother Frederick Howell; grandparents Jesse and Melinda Hounsell, George and Josephine Howell; father and mother-in-law Randolph and Evelyn Vivian. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Randolph; parents Frederick and Maggie Howell; son Leon(Cavelle) and grandchildren Brandon and Lily; son Brian and grandson Javed; special niece Phyllis Hart; sisters Eileen Hayward(Raymond) of Labrador City, Sheila King(Gaye) of Valleyfield, Corinne Singer(Douglas) of Halifax, NS., Denise Hann(Bill) of St. John's and Valerie Spurrell(Hubert) of Valleyfield; brother Derrick(Melanie) of Ajax, ON.; D.J. and Carrie Goulding who referred to her as nan; brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; extended family and friends. Funeral service took place at The Salvation Army Citadel, New-Wes-Valley on Thursday, February 25, 2016 with Captains Roxanne and Osbourne Randell officiating. Interment followed at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Hare Bay. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove.
