DUCHESNE, DUANE PATRICK
1973 – 2016
The family of Duane P. Duchesne of Calgary, formerly of Riverview, is deeply saddened to announce his sudden passing at his home in Calgary on Friday, February 26, 2016. Born in Greenwood, NS, he was the son of Richard and Fran (Tardif) Duchesne of Riverview.
For the past nine years Duane lived in Calgary where he worked as a system analyst for Cordate Digital Solutions. He loved the outdoors, whether he was hiking the Dobson Trail or choosing to be a little more adventurous by rappelling Cape Enrage or skydiving. He had a passion for carpentry, woodworking and entertaining crowds as a DJ and was often found at the Cosmo Night Club in the mid 90’s.
Besides his parents he will be dearly missed by his sister, Debbie Lirette (Claude) of Riverview, a nephew Jeremy and niece Melanie, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Service celebrating his life will take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home and Memorial Chapel, 330 Whitepine Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 11 AM with Father Phil Mulligan presiding. The interment will take place at Fair Haven Cemetery.
