It is with great sadness that the family of the late Emily Shirley Chambers of Bear Cove announces her passing on March 3, 2016 at Charles Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony at the age of 81 years. She leaves to mourn children: Emelene (Marcus), Roland (Gladys), Blanche (Albert), Curtis (Leah), Terry (Karen), Louise (Marvin) and Mary (Ron); grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by husband Curtis and sons Calvin and Oswald. Visitation was held at St. Boniface Church in Bear Cove on Saturday, March 5th with a family service following at 8:00 p.m. The funeral service took place at the church on Monday, March 7 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Omar Reyes presiding. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Bear Cove. Friends and family may sign the guestbook and leave messages of condolence by visiting the website at www.fillatre.ca.
