With her family at her side, Cheryl passed away peacefully at home in Kitchener, Ont, on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the age of 53.
Beloved wife of Doug Cameron. Loving mother of James Matthew McNeil (Jennifer Keane) and stepmother of Jamie Lee Steele. Cherished grandmother of Gracie Lee Steele. Dear sister of Reginald McNeil and Kerry McNeil.
She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Reggie McNeil and her sister, Caroline McNeil.
Cheryl's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15th at Curry’s Funeral Home, 775 Main St., Glace Bay. A church service, celebrating her life, will take place 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16th at St Joseph’s Church, Reserve Mines. The Rev Daniel Boudreau will be presiding. The interment will be in the parish cemetery at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
