We have many memories of our mother’s simple life of raising children, enjoying the outdoors, rabbit snaring, fishing, clamming and walking the beach. Mom enjoyed good times with family and friends, playing cards, music and sharing rappie pie. She taught herself to quilt and crochet and many people now have her handiwork in their homes. Heartfelt thanks to the staff, for the care given to our mother during her stay at Tideview Terrace. No visitation at Anne’s request. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A funeral Mass was held at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Queen St., Digby NS, at 11 a.m., Friday, March 18th, 2016, Father Tom Kurudeepan OMI officiated.
