BOURGEOIS, NORMA
1938 - 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norma Bourgeois at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital University Hospital Center, Moncton on Monday, March 14th, 2016 at the age of 77. Born in Fox Creek, she was the daughter of the late Camille and the late Leonie (née: LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Norma was an incredible woman, highly respected in her career, as a nurse, for 28 years, and throughout her life. She had lots of compassion for people, always ready to lend a hand. She was elegant and she had a joy for life that motivated her to travel the world. Norma was an exemplary spouse, mother and grandmother, who was much loved and will never be forgotten.
She is survived by her husband Gerard; one daughter Lise (Rene Melanson) of Dieppe; one son Claude (Fiona) of Shediac Cape; two sisters: Berthe Cormier (late Philip) of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and Dolores D’Nelly (late Gregg) of Santa Monica, California; one brother Eugene (Jacqueline) LeBlanc of Moncton; two grandchildren: Luc and Annie and also several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one sister Leoline.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, N.B., on Friday, March 18th, 2016 at 11:00 am.
