We the family of the late Beverly Lynne (Knott) Foggoa, regret to announce her passing at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, on March 19, 2016.
Born in Sydney, Bev was the daughter of the late Wilson and Katherine Knott.
Bev worked at Citizenship and Immigration for a number of years until her retirement. She was also a member of Holy Rosary parish, Westmount, and was a member of their CWL. Bev also loved to knit and created many beautiful things over the years.
Bev is survived by her loving husband of 43 years Andrew Foggoa, brothers Barry (Joan), and Blaine (Jean), nieces Kate (Cory) and Shelley (Jason), nephews Justin (Jennifer), Jason (Holly) and Charles (Georgie). Bev is also survived by great nieces and nephews, Samantha, Luke, Lizzie, Oliver, Abigail, Jaslyn and Sadie.
The family would like to thank the Nurses of 4C of the CBRH for their care and compassion.
Family flowers only please, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Diabetes Association.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation for Bev will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesdy, March 23, at 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, Westmount, with Fr. Douglas Murphy officiating.
