As the result of a motor vehicle accident on Friday, March 18, 2016 of John Gerald Campbell of Newport in his 87th year.
Gerald is survived by his sister, Mary Walker and his brother, Jerome (Harriet) Campbell. He was predeceased by his parents, Duncan and Ella Campbell; his brothers - Peter, Joseph, Vernon and infant Leo; his sisters - Bibiana Murphy and Margaret Campbell; his sister-in-law, Stella Campbell; brothers-in-law - Frank Murphy and Sonny Walker. He will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home for visitation Monday, March 21, 2016 from 5 - 8 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at St. George’s Church at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. George’s Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to St. George’s Cemetery or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
Completion of funeral arrangements has been entrusted to Hillsboro Funeral Home.
