It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mom, and Oma, Mary Letitia Winkel. Mary was a devoted wife, loving mother, and exceptional friend.
Mary was born in MacDowell, Saskatchewan the youngest of three children to Angus and Hazel Campbell. She married Les Winkel in Edmonton, Alberta in 1967. Les and Mary raised their only son, Eric, in Mackenzie, BC where they created a home and many close friendships.
Mary will be deeply missed by her husband (Les Winkel), son and daughter-in-law (Eric Winkel and Alice Winkel), granddaughter (Emily Winkel), grandson (Kevin Winkel), brother (Gerald Campbell), and her three nieces and three nephews.
Mary was predeceased by her father (Angus Campbell), mother (Hazel Campbell), and sister (Eva Freemont).
A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at 3:00 on Saturday, March 26th at the First Baptist Church in Prince George, BC.
