(1934-2016)
Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family on March 28, 2016. Predeceased by husband, Allan Dowden; parents, Gordon and Elizabeth; brothers, Gordon (dec- Winnie) and Robert; sisters, Marge Hendricks and Millicent (dec- Wayne Taylor). Left to mourn with broken hearts are daughters, Janet (Thomas Seale) and Susan (Wade Brenton); four grandchildren, whom she loved with all of her heart, Amanda (Steve Robinson), Ashley (Manny Singh), Alyson (Steve Brosseau), and Avery. Great-grandchildren Lucas, Madalyn, and Baby Singh on the way. Brother, Eric Field (Betty); brother-in-law, Robert Hendricks; sister-in-law, Bride Locke, and brother-in-law, Robert Dowden and a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and lifelong friends whom she cherished. Special thanks to family and friends who helped during this difficult time. At Audrey's request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. on Wednesday March 30, 2016 from 12-9 and Thursday March 31, 2016 12pm-5pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Augustine's Church, Westerland Rd. on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 10:30am Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. No flowers by request.
