It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our wonderful, graceful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Evelyn Shears Tiller who left this life suddenly in the early hours of March 30, 2016. Evelyn was predeceased by her much loved son Gregory, long time devoted companion Robert Nugent and husband Maxwell Tiller. Left with wonderful memories are daughters Geri (Glenn Lilly), Heather (Robert Woodland), Karen and Maxine (Jeff Hounsell), grandchildren Kathryn Lilly, Jennifer (John) Kelly, Stephanie Allen, Adam (Kim) Hogarty, Matthew (Karen) Woodland, Meghan (Ian) Stedman and Greg Woodland, her adored great-grandchildren Eric and Lauren Woodland, Max and Piper Kelly, Luke and Clara Stedman, stepchildren Heather Nugent Maloney, Laurie (Don) Myler, Robert (Linda) and Keith (Ellen) Nugent and their families, brothers Rod, Ben and Austin Shears, sisters Maxine Osmond and Georgina Thoms and their families along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place. A funeral service and celebration of Evelyn's life will be held on Friday April 1 at 11:00 am at St. Mark's Anglican Church. Logy Bay Road. St. John's.
