It's with heavy hearts we regretfully announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our devoted loving mother, grandmother, and sister. Madeline T. McDonald passed away at the Health Sciences Centre. Predeceased by her loving husband Harold "Howie"; parents Bertha and James Murphy; brother James; sisters Karie, Kathleen and Mary. Also her in-laws Pat, Bill, Sonny, Jimmy and Paul McDonald, Ed Woodfine, Tom Rice, Gerald and Stella Fleming and Peter Oliver. Also nieces and nephews that are predeceased. Left with cherished memories, her sons Robert (Cyndi), Johnny (Audrey) and her daughter and best friend Carolann with whom she resided; her grandchildren Chris, Michelle, Melanie and Harold; her sister Jenny Oliver; brother Pat Murphy; and brothers and sisters-in-law John, Kevin (Carolyn), Ninny (Wanda), Gus, Dolly Quigley (Joey), Ann Woodfine, Mary Rice, Marg Forward (Bob), Ruth McDonald, Carol McDonald, Madeline (Madge) McDonald; good friend Paulette; and all her friends at the Avalon Mall; plus a large circle of nieces and nephews. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Cremation has taken place. Visitation on Thursday from 5-9 pm and Friday from 10 am - 4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 11 am on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from St. Teresa's Church on Mundy Pond Road with inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
