Passed peacefully away at his residence in Cupids on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, Albert J. Simms, aged 86 years, formerly of Marysvale. Predeceased by his wife Alice, parents Henry and Anne Simms, brothers William and Jack, sisters Dorothy, Mary and Clara. Leaving to mourn his children Patrick Simms, Mary (Aiden) Wall, Gerard (Marg) Simms, Connie Simms, Denise (Graeme) Bain, Amanda Simms, Alice (Gerry) Power, 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, brother Cyril, sister Cecila, also a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Broughton's Funeral Home, Brigus with visitation on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m., Friday, April 1, 2016 from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral to take place on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Our Lady of The Snows Church, Marysvale with interment to follow in the R.C.
