It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Florence (Gallant) King on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 following a short illness, wife of the late Reginald King of Tankville. She was daughter of the late Emile and Margaret (Surette) Gallant of Spring Street, Moncton.
She enjoyed listening to country music, loved to line dance, and wouldn’t miss a great garage sale.
She will be sadly missed by her five loving children: Eileen King (Doug), Phyllis Geddes (Bruce), Wayne (Janet), Eddy, and Joyce; two grandchildren: Ross and Kenneth (Crystal); three great-grandchildren: Kaylie, Maddie, and Alex; three brothers: Paul (Carol), Oscar (Lorraine), and Eugene (Dianne); two sisters: Violet and Irene Dutcher (Laurie); several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she is also predeceased by a grandson, John Geddes; five brothers: Eddie, Roy, Bill, Norman, and Ben; two sisters: Edna and Doreen.
The family express their profound gratitude to her brother Eugene and wife Dianne and to their neighbour Bernice LeBlanc of Tankville.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday April 4 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 10 am until time of funeral. A reception will follow at the centre. Interment will be St. Lawrence O’Toole cemetery, Irishtown.
