Passed peacefully away on April 1, 2016, at St Clare's Mercy Hospital surrounded by his loving family, Alec Follett, age 77, of St. John's. Predeceased by his parents Edison and Laura (Doll), brothers Bill and Randy, sisters Myrtle and Olive and granddaughter Jenna. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Bride Butler; his son Alex; daughters Bernice (Tony); Connie (Todd); Kim (Jeff), Wanda (Patrick) and Tracey (Gene), along with their mother Eileen; step-children Laura (Terry), Alice and Joanne (John); brothers Gord (June, deceased), Forrest (Linda), Geoff (Laura), Walter (Veronica); sister-in-law Lilly Follett; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several cousins, nieces and nephews; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. To all who knew him, Alec genuinely loved spending time in the country, casting a few lines in the pond and camping in Winter Brook in his beloved little trailer with family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
