It is with great sadness that the family of Gerald Pitcher announces his peaceful passing at his residence in Goulds, on March 31, 2016 at the age of 74. Predeceased by the love of his life, wife Veneta (nee Baldwin) (2003), son Robert (Bob) (2007); parents Elsie and Silas; brother Garfield; sister Yvonne; sister-in-law Vickie and members of the Baldwin family. Left with fond and loving memories his children Wade (Darlene), Debbie Shaw (Keith), Clyde (Jackie), Evelyn Hussey (Glenn); grandchildren Keith (Joanne), Megan (Gerald), Brandon, Jennifer (Mike), Lisa (Kyle), Joey, Eugene, Jessica, Sara, Stacey; great-grandchildren Lucas, Kaedence, Tessa and Jack, sisters Ina Welsh (George), Nita Par (Steve), Linda Paine (Brian), Barbara Murphy (Johnny), Bonnie Temple (Barry); brothers Clyde (Gen), Vern (Margie), Boyd (Helen), Melvin (Geraldine), Darren (Becky); sister-in-law Bertha and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, in-laws and close friends Dr. Ross and Vera Penney. Cremation has already taken place. Visitation at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Wednesday April 6, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Closing prayer will take place at 9 p.m. Interment to follow at a later date.
