The family of the late Danny Gallant would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to relatives, neighbors and friends for the kindness and support shown to us at the time of our father’s death. We deeply appreciate every expression of sympathy extended to us whether in person, phone calls, emails, Sympathy and Mass cards, spiritual enrollments and memorial donations to various charities. We thank those who attended the visitation and funeral – your presence meant a great deal to us. We are very grateful to those who provided us with delicious meals, various food and fruit trays. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Peter Littlejohn for the excellent care and attention you gave Danny. We appreciated having St. Leoard’s Choir provide us with beautiful hymns – we were deeply touched especially by the French hymns and Oh Danny Boy as Danny was being led from the church. Thank you to Brine McIsaac for your friendship to Danny and for providing the beautiful organ music. We are very grateful to Fr. Ray Huntley for your prayerful support and for the touching celebration of Danny’s life at Mass. Thank you very much to Deacon Leo Penny for your heartfelt homily for your father-in-law to whom you were so incredibly good to over so many years. We thank the altar servers and also the pallbearers for your part in Danny’s farewell. We are most grateful for the delicious luncheon provided by our Carmel Centre friends. Thank you to the staff of the New Waterford Hospital and C.B. Regional Hospital AnCala Unit for your kindness to Danny and our family. We are very grateful to the staff of McGillivray’s Funeral Home for your sensitive and compassionate assistance. During our time of need we truly recognize how fortunate we are to be blessed with so many devoted and caring friend.
