Moncton, NB - It is with sadness in our hearts, but with gratitude for the long life he had - that we announce the death of Joseph Alcide Gagnon, 98, who passed away at Veterans Health Centre in Moncton on April 4th, 2016.
Joe will be missed by his two sons David (Doreen) of Moncton, Michael (Pam) of Fredericton; and his four daughters Valerie Hussey (Frank) of Moncton, Carol Ferguson of Moncton, Pam Van Egmond (Martin) of Moncton, Gail Collette (Roger) of Lower Coverdale.
His 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren will remember him always, particularly the fun they had at his camp which he decorated in his own particular style.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church 340 Dominion Street, Moncton on Friday, April 8, 2015 at 12:00 pm with Father Laurence Quin-Morris officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion #6, who are fundraising for a new bus for the Veterans at the Centre or the Food Depot Alimentaire would be appreciated by the family.
