Laura Daley, 92, wife of the late John Daley, of Lakeview Manor, Riverview and formerly of Norwood Avenue, Moncton, passed away on Friday April 8, 2016 at The Moncton Hospital.
Born on July 27, 1923 in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late Dosithée and Marguerite (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
Laura was an avid bingo and card player.
She is survived by three children: one son, John (Phyllis); two daughters: Nancy Gautreau (George) and Carol McCluskey (Peter); seven grandchildren: Pauline Webb (Bernie), Michael Daley (Julie), Sharon, Derrick, Nicole Gautreau Lemoine (Chris), Lise Gautreau, and Laura Lee; eleven great-grandchildren: Trent, Julie, Tatyanna, Hayden, Jessica, Jacob, Hayley, Shelby, Colby, Tytus, and Jenna-Jane; a sister, Rita Robichaud (Yvon); many nieces, and nephews.
Besides her husband, Laura is also predeceased by five brothers: Eric, Néri, Alfred, Lenus, and John; three sisters: Marie, Helen, and Susan.
The family will receive condolences Monday from 2 to 4 pm at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday April 11 at 4 pm. A reception at the centre will be held following the service.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
