Diane 'Bun' MacPhail, in her 53rd year, entered into God's loving embrace and received her wings on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, surrounded by family and friends.
Diane worked for many years, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on the Fourth Floor. She was absolutely adored by everyone! Diane was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Kennedy, both of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. Diane became a special friend to everyone she met!
Diane's vibrant spirit lives on in her devoted husband Barry; sisters, Mary (Lionel) MacIsaac, Ann (Alvin) Kimm, Sandra (James) Winstanley, and Kim Snow; brothers, Robert (Julie) Lahey, Thomas (Margaret) Kennedy Jr., Michael (Madonna) Kennedy and John (Donna) Kennedy, and many nephews, nieces and friends.
Diane was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Mary Kennedy as well as her sister, Maude MacNeil.
Diane will forever be missed! Heaven has been blessed with another beautiful angel. You will never be forgotten and missed more than words can say!
The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment Parklawn Cemetery.
