Age 77, of Dartmouth, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 in the QEII Halifax Infirmary Site.
Born in Grand Pare Point, PEI, She was a daughter of the late Peter and Lillian (Ford) Dorion.
Dear mother of Derek (Bonnie), Halifax; Denine (Gary) Turner, Winsloe South, PEI; loving Nanna to Ben, Nick and Lauren Kostal, all of Halifax. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Kostal. Marie will be lovingly remembered by her brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters, sisters-in-law, as well as her numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cole Harbour Funeral Home, 1234 Cole Harbour Road, where visitation will be held 1-2 p.m. Monday with a memorial service and reception to immediately follow. Pastor Douglas Mott officiating. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Marie's life.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, or charity of choice.
The family would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the nurses on Unit 6.1 IMCU at the Halifax Infirmary Hospital.
