CORMIER, ERIC

Eric Cormier, 95, of Dieppe, passed away on Tuesday, April 19th, 2016 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center, Moncton.
Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, he was the son of the late Alyre B. and the late Alma (née: Caissie) Cormier.
Prior to retirement, Mr. Cormier had worked for Co-op Feed Mill in Moncton for over 27 years. He was a member of Saint-Anselme parish.
He is survived by his wife, Désanges (née: LeBlanc); one daughter, Elise (Réal) LeBlanc of Notre-Dame; one son, Jean (Monique) of Moncton; three sisters: Yvonne (late Yvon) MacDonald of Bouctouche, Hermeline (late Aldëi) LeBlanc of Dieppe and Noëlla (Omer) Cormier of Saint-Antoine; three grandchildren: Joline, Genevieve and Forrest; two great grandchildren: J.C. and Haley; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and also on Friday from 10 am until time of departure. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Saint-Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe on Friday, April 22nd, 2016 at 11 am. Interment in Notre-Dame-du-Mont-Carmel Parish Cemetery, Sainte-Marie-de-Kent.
