The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, of June Pidgeon, of Summerside, aged 84 years. Born in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Phoebe (Hately) MacLeod. Survived by her children Debbie Farish, Brian Pidgeon, Cindy Ives and Kelly Pidgeon (Angie Chaulk); grandchildren David, Duane and Darren Farish; great-grandchildren Michael and Christopher; and by a sister Pearl Costain. Predeceased by her husband Arnold Pidgeon; grandson Leslie Farish; a brother Wallace MacLeod and sisters Ellen Pye-Currie and Maude Shackleton. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside.
