Gerald "Bud" Lawlor

LAWLOR, GERALD FRANCIS "BUD"
Surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy illness, the peaceful passing of Gerald “Bud” Lawlor, of Saint John, son of the late William and Helen (Gillis) Lawlor and beloved husband of Barb (Mackin) Lawlor, occurred May 3, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
During his career, Bud was manager of Kwik Pik for many years and later on managed Market Square Smoke Shop. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed bowling, golfing and curling; Bud was also involved with the Thistle Saint-Andrews curling club. He was devoted to his wife, family and faith.
The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who cared for Bud, with a special thank you to Cathy Wilson, LPN of 3CN.
Besides his wife, Bud is survived by one daughter: Carolyn Ramsay (Perry) of Quispamsis; two sons: Michael William Lawlor (Monique) of Rothesay and Peter Alan Lawlor of Saint John; one sister: Joan Ward from Ottawa; one brother: William Lawlor of Saint John; six grandchildren: Katie Tibbets (Dan), Brianne, Aaron, Meaghan, Seth and Lily; two great-grandchildren: Evan and Liam; as well as several nieces and nephews.
