Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Friday, May 6th, 2016, Leslie Charles Squires, aged 74 years. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Isabelle, brother Robert Jr, and brother-in-law John Tucker. Leaving to mourn his partner Hilda, and her son Jody (Kelly); sons Errol (Michelle), Graham, and Kirby (Tracy), and their mother Viola; grandchildren Leslie, Errol (Nicole), Jessie, Mackenzie, and Jaidyn; great-grandchildren Nicholas, Lucas, and MaKayla; sisters Edna and Linda (Greg); brothers Bronze (Christine), Phil (Barb), Dick (Sandra), Dave, and Ron (Bev); special friends Terry Wiseman, Pat and Kay Wadden; as well as many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving visitors at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Sunday, May 8th, 2016 from 10 a.m - 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Monday, May 9th, 2016 at 1 p.m, with inurnment to follow in the St. Philip's Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leslie's memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation.
