Webb, Robert George, 76 of Thorburn passed away May 6, 2016 at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Springhill he was a son of the late Israel and Geraildine (Eagles) Webb.
Robert was a faithful member of the Jehovah Witness’s for the last 50 years.
He was employed as a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife Doreen Webb, children: Cheryl (Henry) Young, Trenton; Joanne (Greg) Stewart, Thorburn; Clayton (Diane), Thorburn; Gwen (Glenn) Wilson, Trenton; Tim (Michelle) Webb, Westville; 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, his brothers and sisters: June (Buster) Mulligan, Sudbury, ON; Bill (Em), Linacy; Juanita (Bud) Young, Oshawa, ON; Joy (Alex) Fitzpatrick, Thorburn; Hazel White, Thorburn; Ray (Nancy), Blue Mountain; Gary (Margy), New Glasgow; a sister-in-law Jesse Webb, numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son Joel, a brother Floyd Webb and a brother-in-law Bill White.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held 1pm Thursday from the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall, 1821 Old Truro Road, Westville with Rex Watson presiding.
