With love and brokenness in our hearts we announce the sudden passing of our father David Hackett on Friday, April 29, 2016 at the age of 67 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughters: Tara (Paul) Parsons, Stephenville and Jodi (Greg) Dinney, Corner Brook; precious grandsons: Owen, Will, Sam and Jordan; brothers: Nev (Jane), Garl (Arman) and sister: Gloria Christopher; sister-in-law Judy Hackett; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents David and Claudine, brother Marven and brother-in-law Mack. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Tuesday, May 10th from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 11th at 11:00 AM. from Fillatre's Funeral Chapel, St. Mark's Avenue with Reverend Tanya White officiating. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association of NL, Western Regional Office.
