CARR, TROY PRESTON THOMAS
It is with great sadness that the family of Troy Carr of Saint John announces his sudden death, which occurred on Monday, May 9, 2016.  Born in Saint John on May 16, 1988, he was the son of Gail (Duke) Roy and Dallas Carr (Beatriz). 
Troy is survived by his siblings, Matthew Duke, Dallas and Aidan Carr, Alisha and Ethan Young; grandparents, Terry and Sharon Ganz and James and Debbie Duke; grandmother, Edith Johnston; great-grandfather, Robert Splane; special aunt’s, Nancy Splane and Jennifer Duke; aunts and uncles, Bob and Tammy Pierce, Scott and Tina Vincent, Mark and Elizabeth Carr, Christian and Amy Carr, Clyde and Marie-Claire Lajoie Carr, Jason and Darcy Carr, Laura Carr and Aaron Carr; cousin, Marilyn McDonough; as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. 
He was predeceased by his grandfather, Richard Carr and great-grandmother, Marilyn Splane.
Troy was a Chief Scout with the Lancaster Baptist Boy Scouts; where he got his love of the outdoors.  He was a graduate of Harbour View High School and graduated from NBCC as an electrician.  Troy was always willing to help a friend or family member at short notice and could be found on the weekends riding his horse C.J. with his dog Tucker as this side.  He will be missed by all who knew him and will always be in our hearts.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, West Saint John (634-7425) with visitation being held following cremation on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.  The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Bay View Chapel on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 2:00 PM.  Interment will take place at a later date.
