The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, May 12, 2016, of Ernest Harold MacAusland of Summerside, aged 67 years. Ernest was born in Summerside to his late parents Leonard and Isabel (nee Lidstone) MacAusland. Beloved husband of Sharon (nee Arsenault) MacAusland and loving father of Lois (Craig), Lloyd (Mona), Lisa (Jeremy) and Lennie (Isabelle). Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Taylor, Devon, Caleb, Cole, Kenzie, Jayden, Avery, Jenna and Chelsea. Survived by his brothers and sisters Eric (Crissy), Lois (Ernie), Jim (Sharon) and sister-in-law Kim. Besides his parents, Ernest was predeceased by his brother Keith. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Visiting hours on Monday, May 16, from 5 – 7 p.m. followed by funeral service at 7 p.m. Memorial donations in Ernest’s memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
