Louis Joseph Gallant of Espanola, Ont., passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Josephine of Espanola. Dear son of the late Aubin and Annie Gallant. Loving father of David (Monique) of Espanola, Gordon of Orangeville and Timothy of Toronto. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Noah and Molly. Very dear brother of Adrus (late Marie), Renne (Ruth), Maryanne (Victor Rousselle), Raymond and the late Arthur, Alice (surviving Rene Maddix), Claire (surviving Larry Pilatzke). Louis was a man who made the world his friend, his wife his love, his family his mission and lived every day as if every day would never end. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Jude Roman Catholic Church, Espanola, on Saturday, May 21, at 11 a.m. with Father Raymond officiating. Interment of ashes in the Espanola Cemetery.
