TAYLOR MACKINNON
Card of Thanks
Taylor MacKinnon
We, the family of the late Taylor MacKinnon, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who shared their sympathy and support during our time of great sadness and loss. To all of the relatives, neighbours and friends for their many prayers, cards, online condolences, phone calls, food, flowers, monetary gifts and donations made in Taylor's memory, and to all those who took time to visit with the family at the wake or funeral service, your kindness will never be forgotten. Special thanks to Rev. Norma Mills, and the combined choirs of the Westmount United Church and Holy Rosary Catholic Church for the beautiful service and fitting tribute to Taylor. A special thank you to Daniel MacKinnon, Megan Shepard and Grace MacKinnon for their readings during the service. Also, thank you to the United Church Women for the delicious lunch provided at the reception following the service. To grandchildren Brandon Phillippo, Tyler Phillippo, Daniel MacKinnon, Megan Shepard and Grace MacKinnon, Grampy would have been proud to have you serve as pallbearers for his service. Thank you to his brothers and fellow members of the Masonic Lodge for their heartfelt service at the funeral home and to the members of the Westmount Volunteer Fire Department and other local departments for their honour guard and tribute during the funeral service. He would have been both honoured and humbled by the outpouring of friendship and respect. Sincere thanks to both High-Crest Nursing Home in Sherbrooke and Harbourstone Enhanced Care in Sydney for their kindness and compassion during Taylor's stay at each facility. And finally, a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Chants Funeral Home for the respect and dignity shown to the family during this difficult time.
