On Monday, May 30th, Winston Churchill Burt passed peacefully away at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital palliative care unit where he received exceptional care. He lived with deep faith in God and served others in various ways. Left with wonderful memories are his daughter: Darlene, his siblings: Wallace (Mae, deceased), Hilda (Austin) Taylor, Pansy (Andrew) Attwater, Gloria (Morgan) Burt, Junior (Betty), Daisy (Norm, deceased) Boone, brother-in-law: Bob Parsons, extended members of the Burt and Knee families which includes Raymond (Claudia) and Chiara, and a large circle of friends. Winston was predeceased by his wife of 45 years Beatrice (Knee), in 2010, parents: Sidney and Susanna Burt, parents-in-law: Benjamin and Janie Knee, and siblings: Breta, Unice, and Graham (Linda). Visitation will take place from the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarence Street, on Wednesday, June 1st from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm, from where funeral service will take place on Thursday, June 2nd at 2 pm. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
