ROBICHEAU, Thelma Naomi age 92 of Middleton, NS passed away Friday, June 3, 2016 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Born in Prince Albert, NS, she was a daughter of the late Adelbert Horace and Bessie Mae (Mosher) Craig. Thelma met Lew, the love of her life working at Canadian Canners in Middleton. She and Lew enjoyed living in Prince Albert, Victoriavale and later settling in Middleton. Thelma devoted her life to her family, whom she loved very much. She enjoyed gardening, crafts and always keeping busy. Thelma is survived by daughters, Darlene (John) denHaan, Brickton and Star (Les) Barker, Wilmot and son, Cecil (Carol) Robicheau, Middleton; grandchildren, Josh (Carley) denHaan, Port George; Luke (Jodi) denHaan, Clarence; Regaan denHaan (Lissa Cohen), Winnipeg; Llewellyn (Sarah) Robicheau, Melvern Square; Wendell (Julie) Robicheau, Edmonton; Rick (Charity) Robicheau, Wilmot; C.J. Robicheau (Kailey Brown), South Farmington; Justin (Brenda) Barker and Tara (Alex) Balcome, both of Wilmot; great grandchildren, Haden, Madex, Roen, Jax, Autumn, Austin, Lila, Logan, Andy, Alex, Matt, Bella and Johnathan. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 62 years Llewellyn “Lew” Robicheau; sisters, Irene Zinc and Mona Saunders; brother, Russel Craig and step-sister, Hazel Gates. A funeral service was held 3:00PM Sunday, June 5, 2016 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Danny Smith officiating. A reception for family and friends followed the service. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middleton. Donations in memory of Thelma may be made to the Parkinson Society Maritime Region or Canadian Cancer Society. A special thank you to Dr. Paul Maclean for his care and compassion over the years and to the nurses “angels” who work on the Medical Floor, Soldiers Memorial Hospital, thank you for all you do and to Dr. Michele Saxon for her gentle kindness with Mom while she was in the hospital was much appreciated.
