It is with great sadness that the family of the late John William "Jack" Wiseman announce his peaceful passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Monday, June 6, 2016 in his 87th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and precious memories, his loving wife of 65 years, Audrey (nee Lundrigan); children: Gary (Leona), Brent (Marion), Darryl (Evelyn), Christine (Roger) Butler and Terry (Marie); twelve grandchildren: Jackie, Michael, Matthew, Philip, Jason, Zachary, Gregory, Daniel, Andrew, Katie, Michael and Brett; step-grand-children: Brandon, Mason and Devon; 4 great-grandchildren: Emily, Jack, Will and Claire; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Alfreda Wiseman; infant son Michael; brothers: Kevin, Desmond and Joe Jr., and sister Carmella. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday, between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mt. Bernard Ave., with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Townsite Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer's Society.
