Mildred (Millie) Irene Smith (nee Stevens) was born in Kemptown, Nova Scotia, on the 19th of March, 1916 – 100 years ago. She was predeceased by husband, Jim, son, Vernon, grandson Stewart, and several great-grandchildren. Mildred’s younger days were lived in Nova Scotia and she was an employee of Stanfields in Truro for many years. The family travelled extensively throughout Canada and USA and lived most of the rest of their life in BC and Alberta. The last 13 years of which she lived in the Cariboo area of BC. Her final resting place is at the Memorial Monument, 100 Mile House Cemetery.

She is survived by daughters, Carol, and Sharon, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and sister Jean. She will be missed by all the family and remembered as a kind and loving person.
