It is with profound sadness that we, her children, announce the passing of our beloved mother, Orpha LeBlanc, 81, wife of the late Robert LeBlancof Moncton on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at her residence following a lengthy illness. Born July 8, 1934 in Ste–Marie–de–Kent, she was the daughter of the late Alban and Élise (Arsenault) Leger.
She was a retired employee at the Dr. Georges–L. Dumont Hospital.
Orpha is survived by a daughter, Louise Robinson (Glenn); two sons: Claude (Denise) and Charles LeBlanc; six grandchildren: Rebecca, Julie, Sébastien, Jacob, Renée, and Emma; four sisters: Loretta Leger, Émerise Allain, Alida Nutter, Germaine Melanson (Robert); six brothers: Olivier (Rose–Marie), Fabien, Amedée (Rosella), Ovide (Yvonnise), Jules (Mai), and Clarence (Patsy); many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre 88 Church Street, Moncton (858–1900). Visiting hours Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St–Louis–de–France Roman Catholic Church, 5 Pleasant Street, Moncton, Monday, June 13 at 10 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
