Passed peacefully away on April 2, 2008 at the Health Sciences Complex, John Somerton, age 83 years. Predeceased by his parents Samuel and Anna Somerton and sister Cecilia Snow. Leaving to mourn nieces Elizabeth Gosse, Carolann Durdle (Barry), Linda Emerson (Rocky), Josephine Alyward (Mike), Robin McLean (Gary); nephews Ron Snow and Rick Snow (Joanne); great-nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends, especially those at Cluney's Restwell Manor, Kelligrews. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Lawrence Anglican Church. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Bauline Line.
