WILLISTON, CLIFFORD G.
It is with great sadness the family of Clifford Gerald Williston announce his peaceful passing on June 22, 2016 at Ridgewood Veteran’s Wing. Born in Auburnville, NB, on November 20, 1931, he was the son of the late Bart Miller and Jane (Graham) Williston.

Clifford served in the Korean War and worked as a painter and retired from Local 1151. He was a great lover of nature and enjoyed fishing and feeding birds and deer.

Clifford is survived by his sons: Gerry, Rodney (Lisa), Wayne and Kevin (Brenda), all of Saint John; His daughter Wendy (Mike) Jones, of Saint John; one brother: Blair Williston, of Saint John; one step–brother: Dave Clarke of Fort McMurray, AB.; several grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Irene and Norma and by the mother of his children Louise Clarke.

Resting at Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo Street, Saint John, NB (634–1965) with visiting on Thursday June 23, 2016 from 2–4 PM and 6–8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday June 24, 2016 from Fitzpatrick’s Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery.

Remembrances made to Canadian Diabetes Association, Ridgewood Veteran’s Wing or the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated by the family.
