Everett Hastings Hovey “Manny” of Porter
Cove, NB passed away peacefully at the Chalmers
Regional Hospital on Wednesday, July 13, 2016.
Born in Porter Cove on April 18, 1934 son of the late
Everett and Alice (MacKay) Hovey. He is survived
by his wife Ruby (Clowater) Hovey, their children,
Susan (Leonard) Gaston of Doaktown, NB, Deborah
(Lyle) Harmon of Prince George, BC, Juanita Hovey
of Porte Cove, NB; son, Ryan (Gisele) Hovey of
Fredericton, NB; sister, Wanita Johnson of
Whitehorse, Yukon, Queenie Copland of Boiestown,
NB and Sharon Hovey of Fredericton, NB; brothers,
Donald (Claudette) Hovey of Uxbridge, ON and Frederick (Audrey) Law of Wikesport, ON; sister-in-law, Kay Hovey
of Porter Cove, NB, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his sisters, Mary Larsen, Verda Chaisson, Neva Conroy and Isabel McNeish; brother, Galen Hovey.
At his request there will be no visitation.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Upper Miramichi Lions Club, in Boiestown on Sunday, July 17, 2016 from
12-3 pm.
