Callista Mary (LeBlanc) Addicott
Born In: New Waterford
Born: October 7th, 1945
It is with great sorrow that I announce the passing of my sister, Callista, who fought a long and hard battle with much illness, with her loving family by her side.
Born in New Waterford on Oct. 7, 1945 she was the daughter of the late Calixte and Helen (Hennessy) LeBlanc. The last 13 years Callista and her husband John Wendell Addicott have been living in Dartmouth.
Besides myself, Peggy (Bo) MacDonald, New Waterford, she is also survived by her husband, John; daughter, Karen and her husband, Jason, Florida; stepsisters, Pamela, Pauline, New Waterford and stepbrother, Bernie LeBlanc, New Brunswick, Aunt Elizabeth and Uncle Hank Jensen, Huntsville, Ont., as well as many nieces and nephews.
Callista loved to play cards, especially a good game of cribbage.
Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by a sister, Carol Ann MacMaster, and grandparents, Alex and Annie LeBlanc.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Callista's life will take place in Immaculate Conception Parish, Dartmouth on July 25, 2016 with Rev. Jim Richards officiating.
Donations in her memory can be made to a charity of one's choice.
She will be greatly missed and will always remain very close in my heart.
