Suddenly at Tignish, on Saturday, July 16, 2016, of Ryan Gerald Joseph Gavin, of Christophers Cross, age 33 years. Born February 14, 1983, he was the son of Gerald and Nora (nee Allain) Gavin of Tignish. Loving father to Rianna Gavin, and dear brother to Stephen Pitre of Grand Prairie, Alberta, Colleen (Keith) Doucette of Tignish, and Chavonne Gavin of Anglo-Tignish. He is also survived by his grandmother, Freda Gavin of Anglo-Tignish. He will be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces,nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Gerald Gavin Sr., and Joseph and Susan Allain. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. Visiting hours Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Thursday afternoon from St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, for funeral mass at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Brendon Gallant, celebrant.
